Staff Training
Every minute advances are made in technology that necessitate ongoing staff training. Edu Tek provides both in-house training as well as assistance in putting together training programs with leading vendors. Edu Tek also provides supplemental assistance to cover onsite needs so customer staff can be free to attend off-site training sessions. Edu Tek also provides comprehensive training in the technologies that we design and/or implement i.e. white boards, audio/video systems… etc.

Annual IT Staffing
The planning and ongoing maintenance of an organization’s technical infrastructure can be a daunting task all unto itself. Edu Tek provides highly skilled technical staff for many of our clients on an annual basis. Edu Tek handles all of the management responsibilities for these organization-assigned employees. They serve as Edu Tek employees who work fulltime for the organization. Customers pay one simple monthly fee to maintain their contract. Everything else is included. Edu Tek assigns the appropriate resource according to the organization’s goals and objectives. Help Desk
Edu Tek employs an industry recognized web based Help Desk system for tracking work orders. End users can log in and view the status of issues as well as communicate with the engineer assigned. This system easily integrates into our customer’s intranet to maintain continuity. Regular reports are generated and customized to each customer’s particular needs. This Help Desk system has proven to be a critical component of Edu Tek’s success in onsite IT management.
Infrastructure Design
A network can only be as strong as its skeleton. Edu Tek designs infrastructure systems that will support every aspect of your technology. Whether it will support voice, data, video, security or some other system, your infrastructure can be designed to care for your needs now as well as into the future. Edu tek’s engineers maintain certifications with numerous infrastructure manufacturers; therefore our engineers stay abreast of the latest standards and cabling technologies.
Enterprise architecture defines the roadmap that guides the selection, deployment, operation and refreshment of technologies within an organization. Edu Tek works directly with our customers as well as architects and engineers to design all aspects of the infrastructure from the jacks at the workstation to the detailed distribution racks. Edu Tek engineers prepare all of the necessary documentation needed to properly bid out an infrastructure project including scale drawings and specifications. When projects qualify for aid or funding, documents are prepared accordingly.
Voice Systems Design

Audio Video Integration
Edu Tek’s AV integration services include both large truly custom installations as well as mass deployments of standard setups. Installers mount and install hundreds or projectors and electronic whiteboards each year. These systems include integrated affordable control systems as well as network managed systems in many cases.
When custom installation is required Edu Tek installers work closely with the other building trades to ensure that the audio video technology installed in a space blends into the aesthetics. Comprehensive control systems are installed and programmed to allow complete control without needing to extensively train the users.
Infrastructure Integration
Edu Tek Installers are certified to install and terminate both copper and fiber infrastructures. They carefully install cable according to the design set forth by the customer. Cabling is installed according to the most current standards so that projects may be certified and a manufacturer warrantee granted. Accurate As-Built drawings are prepared and submitted to the customer along with a comprehensive test report.
Website/Application Development
Edu Tek designs and administers web sites that range from static informational sites to fully dynamic and data driven portals. Programmers and designers work closely to ensure that sites are both functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Programmers attempt to conform to web Standards for proper web page markup. This helps to assure that all viewers will have the same experience regardless of their browser.
Sites can be designed to connect other systems such as email and scheduling. This enables content to be ported directly to the web without constant management and double entry. In the other direction, content from the website can be easily ported to other systems such as digital signage systems and text messaging services.
Database & Warehouse Consulting
